What is a touch-up and will I need have one?

A touch-up is a color re-enhancement. Getting a tattoo done is a process and at least one follow-up evaluation should be scheduled to determine whether a touch-up is necessary. Ideally it is recommended that a follow-up appointment be made in 4 to 6 weeks for any touch-ups to the brows and eyelids and 8 weeks for the lips so that the color has had a chance to fully soften. Color should not be adjusted until it has had a chance to fully soften; a premature touch-up can result in inaccurate color. A touch-up is not always necessary, but should you desire one anytime after a year from the date of the original procedure you will only be charged a nominal fee for the lifetime of your cosmetic tattoo.
