They are made from surgical grade steel with the highest polish for the smoothest, cleanest deposit of pigment with minimal skin trauma. For most people this means little or no pain during the procedure, and at the most a minimal amount of swelling afterward. Complete healing time for the skin is typically only 4 to 5 days and may be even shorter.
